{"id":3198,"date":"2014-02-19T17:45:51","date_gmt":"2014-02-19T17:45:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/secpho-sta.instawp.xyz\/?p=3198"},"modified":"2014-02-21T15:15:41","modified_gmt":"2014-02-21T15:15:41","slug":"secpho-c2c-meetings-at-mission-for-growth-in-wallonia","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/secpho-sta.instawp.xyz\/en\/noticias\/secpho-c2c-meetings-at-mission-for-growth-in-wallonia\/","title":{"rendered":"SECPhO C2C meetings at Mission for Growth in Wallonia"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On 17th of February, SECPhO participated at the <strong>\u00a8Mission for Growth in Wallonia\u00a8<\/strong>, an event organised in the framework of an initiative of the\u00a0<em>Vice President of the European Commission<\/em><strong> Antonio Tajani<\/strong> in cooperation with the Ministry for the Economy of the Walloon Government and with the support of Walloon Clusters and Enterprise Europe Network Wallonia.<\/p>\n<p>The event was aimed at promoting international cooperation between Wallonian and organisations from\u00a0other European regions working in <strong>Spatial &amp; Aerospace, Biotech \/ pharmaceuticals \/ life sciences and Photonics<\/strong> sectors.\u00a0More info about event: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.b2match.eu\/m4g-wallonia\">http:\/\/www.b2match.eu\/m4g-wallonia<\/a><\/p>\n<p>SECPhO was selected as one of participants for the cluster C2C match making meetings by the organising committee. As a result, SECPhO discussed the possible future collaboration and presented its members to the following organisations:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/clusters.wallonie.be\/photonique-fr\/\"><em>Cluster Photonique<\/em><\/a> (55 members);<\/li>\n<li>ICT cluster <a href=\"http:\/\/clusters.wallonie.be\/infopole-fr\/index.html?IDC=1639\">INFOPOLE<\/a> (156 organisations), working in different sectors such as Data transmission, Internet of things, web &amp; software development besides others;<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.skywin.be\/\">SKYWIN<\/a> cluster of aerospace industry (114 members), with 6 focus areas:\u00a0<em>Composite materials &amp; processes, Metallic materials &amp; processes, Embedded systems, Airport services, Space application systems, and Modelling &amp; simulation<\/em>;<\/li>\n<li><em>Wallonian National Contact Point<\/em> (NCP) for Horizon2020 programme Bertrand Herry;<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.pole-emc2.fr\/\">EMC2<\/a> cluster for innovative manufacturing technologies from France (215 members);<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.aerospace-valley.com\/\">Aerospace \u00a0valley<\/a> form France (681 members, );<\/li>\n<li>Open Engineering SA, a company from Wallonia, offering their software that combines optical simulations with the thermal and mechanical properties of optical setup.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Such events help SECPhO to significantly expand its\u00b4 network of contacts beyond the photonics sector. This is what the European Commission supports and expects in coming years \u2013<strong> cross sectorial collaboration in EU with clusters playing important role<\/strong> as the sector representatives and mediators between SMEs from different countries.<\/p>\n<p>Our network of market oriented clusters and their companies in last years expanded remarkably.
