Cobots are transforming virtually every sector of human activity and their implementation is not going to stop growing. The market for collaborative robots is expected to reach 175% of its current level by 2025.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n

Robotics is the discipline of designing, building and using machines to perform tasks in an automated way. Robots are widely used in automotive manufacturing and especially in those industries where performing some work may be dangerous for humans, such as handling radioactive material in nuclear plants or in military applications. It is also common to use robots for tasks that are difficult to access, such as inspection and maintenance of oil, gas or oil pipelines in ocean plants or recovery of black boxes from the aircraft in air disasters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The most recent robotics is geared towards self-sufficiency. Artificially intelligent robots are equipped with the equivalent of the human senses, such as vision and touch, which allow, on one hand, mobility in an unstructured environment and, on the other hand, coexistence with humans at home or in the factory, what has been called collaborative robotics or “cobots\u201d.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Drones are serving as innovation catalysts in many scientific and industrial fields. The industry therefore estimates that 400,000 professional aircrafts will be needed in Europe by 2035.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Special attention should be given to drones, unmanned and remotely operated air vehicles capable of inspection, crop dusting or semi-autonomous mapping of territories. Intensive work is being done on the miniaturisation of on-board sensors to reduce the weight of the drone’s load without losing performance, as well as on advanced cameras that are stable and configurable to the needs of each flight, since all the data point to an explosive growth in the medium term of their multiple applications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The drones are serving as innovation catalysts in numerous scientific and industrial fields, offering new services and extending their operational possibilities to productive sectors as diverse as agriculture, construction and mining, mobility, security and rescue, packaging, energy, telecommunications, and real estate.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
