Portable device for rapid, in-situ analysis of micro-organisms in water<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sixsenso<\/strong><\/a>, Alter Technology T\u00dcV NORD<\/strong><\/a>, Iberosolve<\/strong><\/a> and ASE-Optics<\/strong><\/a> collaborate in the WATERSENSE project to develop a modular, portable and cost-effective device capable of rapid, on-site assessment of contamination in water samples.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This innovative technology will provide laboratory results quickly, complying with current operational protocols and regulations. It is estimated to take < 5 min for phytoplankton and < 3 hours for bacteria, as opposed to 24 hours or several days for laboratory cultures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The initiative, coordinated by secpho<\/strong>, has received funding from the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism <\/strong>corresponding to Next Generation EU<\/strong> funds, canalised through the support programme for Innovative Business Groups, whose objective is to digitalise industry.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
