Assets monitoring and intelligent logistics tracking to increase efficiency in the corporate supply chain. 

In today’s market, the demand for efficiency in terms of assets monitoring and intelligent indoor and outdoor logistics tracking is an unmet and highly demanded need in the supply chain of all types of industries. The objective of this innovative project is to develop a geopositioning device that can be custom configured and that it integrates continuous combined indoor and outdoor tracking.

The prevalence of fleet control devices in the market is a fact. However, these are low-cost and unreliable devices whose sole function is to locate the vehicle in real time by means of a GPS chip. The limitations of these devices make it impossible to respond to the problems of logistic control of assets required by the industry; they lack local technical support or understandable user manuals, the batteries are characterized by their short durability, the devices are not very adaptable and customizable because they are built as a closed application around a firmware, it is impossible to add sensors to measure physical variables necessary for the industry, the necessary European approvals are missing and they only work through GPS, so they are not detectable indoors.

Logisda’s geopositioning device enables complete control of assets, goods, equipment and people in the industry.

To provide a solution to all this, LOGISDA offers the assets control system manufactured in Spain, which continuously tracks both indoors and outdoors and has its own battery. This geopositioning device allows complete control of assets, goods, equipment and people in the industry. LOGISDA offers an innovative device, reliable and resistant to extreme environments, approved according to the EU and with a customizable firmware, so the user can configure the device to suit their needs and consult local support if required. It is also characterized by having a cloud-based software and for being able to locate the assets from any device. This project was born in pursuit of the digitalization of the industry, as well as the need to minimize the use of resources and environmental impact, save costs, improve the quality of services and the competitiveness of companies and to advance in the control of quality, fraud and sabotage.

The device has been developed by the Alteria Automation team. The initiative, in which secpho participates in the coordination and promotion, is funded by the support program for Innovative Business Clusters of the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism in the 2021 call, which aims to digitize the industry.
